Extra help with Dreamweaver

If you're confused on how to work with Dreamweaver, or would like to get a further understanding of what it can do for website building, the following link can help.

The page it links to is the first part of a guide to understanding Dreamweaver CS3, which is the program we use in class. At the end of the tutorial you'll find the remaining pages of this guide under a table marked "thesitewizard.com's Dreamweaver CS3 Series". It does require a lot of scrolling, but it's a necessary evil and the website really does help. It covers from the basics to uploading the site to the web in, as always, step by step, comprehensive tutorials.

Even further, you'll likely notice that the site offers information not just on Dreamweaver CS3, but on Dreamweaver CS4 (a newer program, but remember we're using CS3 in the classroom), HTML, CSS, and more web design techniques. Plus, it offers many useful tips on making your website appeal to visitors.

Political Graphic Design

artthreat

Art threat is a blog about politics and the arts. They cover political art of all genres, discuss policy as it pertains to culture, and showcase artists whose work inspires social change. I think this is a great site that shows how art can be used for positive change. Take a look and enjoy.

Surreal Paintings

I googled surreal paintings and one of the links that came up was one that displayed some of the work of Vladimir Kush.  Check it out, some of the images are really cool. href="http://www.zuzafun.com/surreal-paintings-of-vladimir-kush"

This might serve for inspiration

I love metaphors, but to visually bring these to life to describe me is a little hard. oh well I'll figure it out. Here are a few pictures of the surreal. I like the way one scene becomes the other without a clear boarder. It never makes the viewer realize where it has changed. Check it out.

The Smell of Roses at Night

I was browsing through the Born Magazine website when I happened to stumble upon this one. I find it pretty inspiring.
