Tablets

Ever notice how professor Anderson doesn't use a mouse to control the curser on her computer. If you look closely you will notice that she is using a pen with a large pad. This thing is called a tablet and it is amazing. It is especially good for artists who use a computer because it is like virtually drawing onto the computer screen when you use photoshop and illustrator programs. These tablets are very high tech and can sure cost you a pretty penny. The leading maker of these tablets is wacom, check out their website to find out more
http://www.wacom.com/index.html

these tablets are so much fun to use and you will surely be amazed at what you can do with this technology it is amazing!

I use Wacom pen tool to draw in Photoshop, too. I have the small version of the tool compared to our professor's pen tablet. Yet, it still work great. If you like drawing with your computer, I highly recommend you to get it:) It is not that expensive, either!

Ya I picked up a Wacom Bamboo Pen for about $70. Not a bad investment if you do a lot of digital art. It helps airbrushing and creating your own freehand calligraphy.
